Hmm: are they quite sure about the usable bit? Or is it just me that finds mid grey on sludge hard to read?
To an old fogey like me, their page background is like returning to the 70s - so this week it's last century, dahling!

Oh my, and I thought I was the only Grumpy Old Woman in the room!
I get SO infuriated by those arty farty backgrounds that make the foreground text illegible.
And by those radio/TV announcers who drop their voices at regular intervals during sentences so you miss what they are saying.
And, much as I admire her proportions, I wish someone would get Lorne Spicer to lower the pitch of her voice from total SCREECH to something like a pleasant contralto.
End of grump.

My pet hate is the ghastly strangulated accents of many (female) presenters and politicians - Kristina McGourty being one, and Ruth Kelly another. I always feel like I need to gargle after I've listened to them!
